#1 for Stabiliser Glove

You cast on with the whole evening ahead of you

Twenty minutes later there's that ache at the base of your thumb right where it meets the wrist and you're flexing your hand instead of working the row.

So you stop. Have a cup of tea. Pick it back up. Ten minutes, and it starts again.

And the advice everyone gives you is to rest it. Which works, in the sense that it stops hurting right up until you knit again.
